WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

We are looking for two part-time Assistant Editors to help organize and string scenes together as we film “Thanks to Her”. These two people will be in charge of making sure that the Editor gets a methodically planned Premier project.

 

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

The Assistant Editors are responsible for supporting ingesting all of the sound and footage, syncing and selecting best takes based on the Director and Script Supervisor’s notes. Hours negotiable depending on production schedule. 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Ingest and check footage

  • Sync image and sound into timelines and select best takes

  • Work with Script Supervisor’s notes to organize footage

  • Keep Director and Producers up to date with screenshots and clips

 

THE IDEA CANDIDATE WILL BE:

  • Extremely organized

  • Quick, but thorough with editing and media managing skills

  • An independent and committed self-starter

  • Interested in Post Production
